Living your passion is a requirement for you if you’re serious about having an ageless lifestyle because your passion catapults your dreams into reality.
You can’t be ageless if your life is filled with stress and worry from living a life that isn’t your passion and purpose.
When you aren’t living your passion, the stress and deep sadness of having a life that is less than the life you could have is eating you alive.
You may deny it but it eventually shows up in your emotions, in your body as illness, and on your face in terms of premature aging.
Are you living your passion now?
Do you know what your passion in life is or are you still looking for it?
These 4 questions will stimulate your subconscious on the path to creating a clear vision for your life.
- What really excites you in your life?
- What do you do that gives you so much pleasure you lose track of time?
- What topic do you read about or see on the news that really gets you fired-up?
- What do you love doing so much you’d be willing to do it for free?
For example, let’s look at what led me to create this very site.
I was on a hiatus from my business at the time. When I would go on social media I kept seeing inaccurate information on health and nutrition, a topic I had been studying since 1981.
I had an extensive library on the topics of health, nutrition and mind/body connection. I had used those resources to get past a diagnosis of breast cancer on my own in 1999. (I’m excited about this topic)
I was always on Pinterest searching new recipes or creating my own healthy versions of old recipes. In fact sometimes I’d blow right past dinner because I was looking at recipes on Pinterest for so long! (I’d lose all track of time)
Since this is a passion of mine, I’d find myself thinking about it long after I saw it online. It was driving me crazy to the point I decided I needed to say something. (A good sign you’re really passionate)
I looked to see if there was a resource I could point people to for good information for people over 50 who wanted to look and feel as young as they felt in their minds. But I found nothing.
So I created this site. I couldn’t not do it because I was passionate about helping people be ageless in their body, mind, and soul. (Another sign)
I never had any intention of making a business out of this site. It was all the same kind of things I would help people with in the real world, all the time. So I was already doing it for free and happy to help. (The final sign)
Super successful people have a vision of exactly what they want their life to look like; now, next year, 5 years, 10, 20, 50 and even 100 years from now.
What kind of legacy do you plan to leave behind?
When the world remembers you, what do you want to be remembered for?
Create a Vision for Living Your Passion
Once you find your true passion, you can grow beyond your current self-concept by creating a vision of yourself as you choose to be.
See yourself as already having everything you really want in your life.
See yourself pushing right through your fears to the other side.
Spend time dreaming and visualizing.
If you’re like most people I know, you’ve used visualizing all your life and just didn’t label it. You may have called it day-dreaming and thought it was something you shouldn’t be spending your time doing.
Kids are really good at this.
The first vivid memory I have of visualizing was as a teenager. I found myself thinking about a boy I liked before I went to sleep at night and then dreaming about him.
After this happened a few times, I experimented to see if I could influence what I wanted to dream about by focusing on a subject before going to sleep. I quickly found I could also use this same process to solve problems and achieve goals. Big achievers do this on a daily basis.
Another thing super successful people do in their daily routine is to take steps toward turning their dreams into goals.
They have a burning desire, a definiteness of purpose.
They’ve learned any thing is possible when you believe in yourself enough to move forward with positive anticipation.
Share your dreams with other visionaries. Plan dream time for yourself every week and get started on creating your life of passion today.
