The rituals we do each day ground us in the day. Ritual and a morning routine give us stability.
Whether it’s a spiritual routine or an exercise routine or even the process you go through making coffee and your breakfast in the morning. our morning rituals give us a comforting feeling. Those rituals are the part of our day we can count on.

2018 Update to My Morning Routine
Here’s the recipe for my Ageless Antioxidant Super Healthy Green Tea Recipe.
My routine changes periodically depending on where I am focusing in my life and business.
I no longer do those journaling questions, over time those thoughts have become incorporated into my day, so I don’t’ need to journal them separately.
I have narrowed my affirmations down to a handful that are very laser focused.
I’m back to doing my gratitude journal at night. It sits right next to my bed.
I leave everything upstairs now so I only carry my tea and phone upstairs.
I am currently on my 3rd cycle of Change One Thing, Change Your Life without missing a day. Since I created this program in 2001 I do as many cycles as feels right whenever I’m in a place of shifting something in my life. It works miracles every time!
I started using the Insight Timer free app on my phone to set a timer for my meditation and also doing some guided meditations that are on the app. I have used it now for 104 consecutive days.
If you find that you have a hard time meditating, you can start with one minute and increase the time using their timer. You can also add sounds, like the ocean or rain. You can add music.
For many people, having the accountability of the app that tells you how many days in a row you have used it makes them more likely to not miss a day.
Your morning routine will shift and change as your life does, but the core elements remain.
