Successfully achieving anything in life doesn’t just happen. It all starts with a vision. Your life is your most valuable achievement, so it’s imperative that you create a vision for you life.
Most people spend 10 times more effort and thought planning their next vacation than they have ever put into consciously creating their life. Why is that?
One reason is because they don’t teach this stuff in school. We’re told it’s a good idea to have goals, but you have to search to even find a process for proper goal setting. And then, if you don’t have a strong and very personal vision to back up the goals you’ve set, most of them are quickly forgotten.
The great thing about creating a vision for your life is it becomes the engine that powers your dreams and goals into reality.
Every achievable goal you set would be realized if all it took was deciding to set it. The rubber meets the road when you hit your first obstacle. That’s the decision point where you either throw in the towel or stay the course.
And what’s the biggest factor in which decision you’ll make?
Whether or not you have a vision that’s powerful enough to help you stick with it.
Why You Must Create a Vision for Your Life
The Bible says, “without a vision, a people perish.” It’s just too hard to keep pushing when you can’t see clearly why you’re doing it. It all becomes too much of a struggle with no end in sight.

The good news is you can learn to create a powerful vision of your life.
It starts with knowing exactly what you stand for in your life; who you are at the core of your being. From that foundation you can take a look at what you really want your life to look like.
What does it mean to you on a personal level to live an ageless lifestyle after 50? There are some commonalities for everyone, but on a deeper level it’s completely personal.
You want to have an ageless body because you can’t have the lifestyle without it. But beyond that, how far are you willing to go to make that happen without a clear vision of why it’s so important to you on a personal level?
And of course you want to have an ageless mind to be sharp and continue learning new and fascinating things. But how will you do this and in what direction are your interests focused?
To have an ageless spirit gives you that calm, peaceful center that your life flows from. Does that mean you need to learn to meditate or take up yoga or read spiritual books? What centers you and how will it carry you into the ageless lifestyle you’re creating?
All these questions will be clearly answered and defined in an actionable way by the vision you create for your life.
