In May of 1999 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Because I didn't use any conventional methods to deal with it, I didn't talk about what I did do. At that time there really wasn't much public acceptance of alternative methods.
I felt like the fact that I cured myself in 30 days would be suspect at best, and to women who chose the more traditional path, might feel like a slap in the face.
I didn't want to be disrespectful or suffer ridicule, so I was silent except in private conversations.
Once I became an author and speaker, doing my own annual 3 day event, Women's Business Empowerment Summit, I found more people wanting details. And yet I was still very reluctant.
It wasn't until after my divorce in 2008 that I found myself sitting down one day to write about it for the first time. Those articles have been reposted here, along with a radio interview I did on my own radio show in 2009 answering questions about the whole process.
I was already consciously living an ageless lifestyle. I hadn't eaten meat for more than 10 years. I did yoga, meditated. I led a very clean lifestyle, living in Cabo San Lucas, where there also was clean water and clean air.
Having an ageless body, mind and spirit was important to me many years before this diagnosis and has played a part in the reason I created this site to help others live an ageless lifestyle after 50.
