Am I a Hypocrite? How to Be an Ageless Business Owner

Last night as I was making my dinner I reflected back on my day and wondered, am I a hypocrite? I thought about how I had not lived up to all the things I teach.

In fact, just Saturday on my Facebook Live I had given you specific things you can do in your life and in your business to help you have a more ageless life and business right now instead of one that sucks the life out of you.

And yet, here I was, standing in my kitchen realizing that I had not done those things in my life and business today. What kind of ageless business owner was I anyway?

Does that make me a hypocrite or just human?

Are we too hard on ourselves, expecting perfection all the time?

Should we even expect to do all the things we could be doing, and do them every day, perfectly?

So, am I a hypocrite?

I don’t think so.

Being an ageless business owner is about being centered within yourself. So after that question popped into my head, it was immediately followed by the answer that no, I wasn’t. It was just a day that was outside the norm.

Yesterday ended up being a completely inside out day for me. And those days will happen.

Having a routine and daily tasks help you regain your balance when a strange day throws you a curve ball.

I’m not perfect. You’re not either. So let’s both give ourselves a break when the day doesn’t go according to plan.

You’ll often find that when you’re making a shift in your life or starting a new routine, your ego will pop up and say, “I’ll show you!”
