Cancer is a part of our lives. It didn’t use to be. As boomers, when we were kids you rarely heard of someone getting cancer. To have an ageless body and create an ageless lifestyle after 50 for yourself, you must do everything you can to improve your health to prevent getting cancer.
If you find that you are already in that place of dealing with cancer, it’s really important that you take charge of your own health. Do a ton of research and see what your alternatives are before moving into the hugely lucrative medical machine of chemotherapy, radiation and surgery.
There are many “alternative” therapies that have worked for countless people, including myself. Not surprisingly, many of them turn out to be generally good for your health whether you have cancer or not. This makes them great protocols for prevention as well as remission or cure. How pineapple can kill cancer cells is one of those general health alternatives to consider.

“Bromelain In Pineapples Can Kill Cancer Cells Without Killing You!”
(TRFW News) One of the methods that conventional medicine uses for cancer treatments is chemotherapy, which is a harmful drug that actually works against your body’s natural ability to fight cancer. These drugs are extremely toxic and have the tendency to go against the body’s natural ability to fight cancer, such as destroying the healthy immune system rather than supporting it. (1)
In addition, cancer survivors that undergo chemotherapy have a higher risk of developing cancer again later in life. The best anti-cancer diet is to eat foods that have cancer-fighting capabilities such as plant-based foods. In fact, you may want to consider pineapple since it has been found to have a natural cancer-fighting compound!
Bromelain can kill cancer cells without affecting you
Bromelain is a unique compound found in pineapples, which exhibits an effect called “selective cytotoxicity” that can kill cancer cells that can keep cells and tissues in the body healthy. (2)
Bromelain is an enzyme that can be extracted from pineapple stems and studies have shown that it’s superior compared to chemotherapy drugs. As noted in the journal Planta Medica, researchers stated, “This antitumoral effect [of bromelain] was superior to that of 5-FU [5-fluorouracil], whose survival index was approximately 263%, relative to the untreated control.” (3)
GredMedInfo also noted that, “When a person dies following conventional cancer treatment it is all too easy to ‘blame the victim’ and simply write that patient’s cancer off as ‘chemo-resistant,’ or ‘exceptionally aggressive,’ when in fact the non-selective nature of the chemotoxic agent is what ultimately lead to their death.” (4)
Selective cytotoxicity is only found in natural compounds!
There is no chemotherapy drug that has been developed to show the same capability effects of bromelain since it is found only in natural compounds that come from real food sources. There are other natural compounds aside from bromelain that have been found to kill cancer cells without harming healthy cells. (5)
These natural compounds include the following:
- Vitamin C. Dr. Ronald Hunninghake’s groundbreaking 15-year research project called RENAC (cancer spelled backwards) involved how vitamin C was selectively cytotoxic against cancer cells. (5,6)
- Eggplant extract. An extract called solasodine rhamnosyl glycosides (BEC) is an extract that eggplant contains, which impacts only cancerous cells and does not interfere with healthy normal cells. Eggplant extract cream appears to be useful in treating skin cancer as well. (5)
- Turmeric (Curcumin Extract). This spice has been the most intensely researched for displaying selective cytotoxicity. A study in 2011 found that the polyphenol in turmeric reduced brain tumors and did not affect the viability of brain cells. (5)
Unfortunately, natural substances such as bromelain will probably never receive FDA drug approval even if they are proven effective, safe, and extremely affordable. (4) The good news is that you have the power to decide what to do about your own health!
