Would you like to know how to manifest your desires and get what you want? Silly question, right? Of course you do!
Watch this video and read the article. The article is not a transcript of the video. both will give you a much beeter idea of how to manifest your desires.
Let’s look at how we manifest and what the difference is between manifesting, setting goals and creating a vision for your life. See how you can manifest what you really want.
You may look at my life, living in Cabo and think, ok I know you can manifest, because I’d like to be living at the beach right now.
Yes, I did consciously manifest this, and I’ve also unconsciously manifested a lot of things over the years that really weren’t what I consciously wanted.
So how does that happen?
Certainly, I didn’t set out to manifest a 10-year abusive relationship. Nobody makes a vision board like that, do they?
The manifestation process just is, it doesn’t judge. It takes the input you give and delivers it to you.
We all manifest 24/7.
Some of us think we are better at it than others.
The truth is we are all great manifestors.
The problem is with the word manifesting.
I prefer to look at the bigger picture and call it creating a vision for my life, and I pair that with a strong process for goal setting and achieving.
What definition do you give it?
Dictionary.com says it’s to make clear or evident to the eye or the understanding; show plainly.
ThruthUnity.com has a metaphysical definition of manifesting as the materialization of a Truth idea; the coming forth into visibility of that which has been affirmed; the appearance of an idea.
Do you think of the Tony Robbins students who have manifested big lottery wins?
How about people who can manifest parking spaces while others drive around in circles?
What is manifesting?
I look at manifesting in terms of creating a vision in my mind of what I want and then having it become reality.
That’s why it’s really important that you carefully create your vision based on your core values and desires. Otherwise, you create from pure emotion or partial, misdirected desires.
And, of course, there is a process involved.
When you understand the process, you can be a powerful manifester.
You can create a vision for your life that will manifest into reality and bring you joy and abundance.
Do we get it right all the time? No.
When we manifest something that isn’t exactly what we want, it’s because we were unclear in the asking. I call this manifesting in incomplete sentences.
You get better at this with practice and with a higher degree of clarity.
I’ve been doing it for over 40 years and since my early 20’s I’ve been helping friends and coworkers create a more empowering vision for their lives.
I did it because I knew how and they needed help. I didn’t label it until I started reading books that talked about manifesting and realized I knew how to do that!
What I didn’t realize at the time was that we all do it. We just might not like what we manifest.
What you may not understand is that you’re always manifesting 24/7
I had never heard the term when I began consciously creating my life as a 16-year-old.
I made a decision in my mind that I was going to change my life. I made a plan and I followed through.
Back then I also had no idea what conscious creation was or really anything about goal setting and achieving.
But I had a burning desire for a different kind of life than the one I had and the future I saw of what was most likely in front of me.
For me, this epiphany came early.
For you, it might be happening right now.
You may be feeling a stirring in your soul, an uneasiness with the status quo.
I think we feel this every time it’s time for a major shift or course correction in our lives.
Manifesting also requires you to be in alignment wth who you really are at a soul level.
Manifesting gone wrong
When you aren’t in alignment you don’t have your own best interest at heart.
You still manifest, 24/7. You just don’t manifest what your conscious mind said it wanted. You get what you really believe, not what you’re trying to make true.
What I mean by that is that you say what you want, this new thing, or a new direction. But deep down your inner critic is nixing the whole plan.
Whichever voice inside you carries 51% of belief is going to win out. The part of you that wants something new vs the part of you that doesn’t.
Maybe your belief is that you don’t deserve it, or that it would cause too much upheaval in your life, or you believe that if you get something it takes away from someone else. Or that you just don’t deserve it, who do you think you are anyway?
Whatever your beliefs are, they will prevent you from manifesting what you want.
You have to take charge.
You have to get clear on who you are and what you want so your beliefs support the new you, your new direction in life. Then you can speak up and take your leadership position in the world.
Clarity is #1. It’s non-negotiable. If you want to manifest what you say you want then you must have a level of clarity that puts you in alignment to also receive it.
If you need help with getting clear or creating a vision for your life, That’s what I’m here for.
